The Value Line Investment Survey reports that Qualcomm receives approximately 30% of pretaxearnings from their CDMA technology segment, and approximately 70% from licensing.
In the former category it looks at such measures as charitable donations as a percent of pretaxearnings, or the percentage of subcontracting with women- or minority-owned businesses.
